Ohra (Barley in English) is one of the main grains that grow in Finland. Its essence is upright and straightforward, unlike rye. Also, its "whiskers" are long and straight.
The OHRA Trousers' base fabric is mainly made from upcycled lace and mixed cutting waste. Decorated with embroidered flower patches and cutting waste fill. The straight silhouette of the trousers simulates the so-called whiskers of the barley.
The trousers are closed with a zipper on the side.
The look is completed with a separate OHRA Wrap Shirt. The base fabric is flower-patterned lace and the base design is a cropped symmetrical wrap shirt. The top decor is made out of different cutting waste frill and embroidered flower patches placed asymmetrically. The shirt hem pieces are long enough to be wrapped to the back and back to front. The OHRA shirt’s voluminous long sleeves are a patchwork from different cutting waste.
The Shirt allows bust measurement max 115cm.
The OHRA Trousers are unique and can't be replicated exactly to the original piece, because all the materials are cutting waste or dead stock. However, the original style, silhouette, and clothing pattern will be the same as the original.
Made-to-order.
